Africa Transformational Initiative (ATI) is a Non-Governmental Organization, established under the Non-Governmental Organization Act No. 24 of 2022, At the heart of Africa Transformational Initiative (ATI) is a commitment to driving sustainable, community-driven change across Africa. We envision a continent where every individual and community thrives in an environment of opportunity, equity, and growth. Our work empowers local communities through innovative solutions and collaborative partnerships that address pressing issues, including law enforcement, environmental crimes, and gender-based violence (GBV), all of which are central to building safe, just, and resilient societies.

ATI's Theory of Change
If we enhance the identification of victims and strengthen law enforcement responses through expert-led training on human trafficking, environmental crimes, and gender-based violence, and we collaborate with law enforcement, communities, and organizations to improve investigative strategies, raise awareness, and provide survivor support, and we work to change mindsets by challenging harmful norms and promoting gender equality, then we will create a safer and more just society, with empowered communities and improved legal frameworks. All of this will then contribute to the reduction of human trafficking, environmental crimes, and gender-based violence, ultimately fostering a better world.
